  8:00AM 4:00PM Indoor Rummage Sale  

The First Church of Christ will host an indoor rummage sale on Friday, May 18 from 8 am - 4 pm and Saturday, May 19th from 8 am - 1 pm. All proceeds will be used to support the youth of the congregation.

 
  10:00AM 12:00PM Acorn School Open House & On-Site Registratration  

Bring your future little Acorns to the Acorn School on Saturday, May 19th, anytime from 10AM-12PM for our Spring Open House. Check out our wonderful little school, allow your child to explore the classroom and open motor play area, ask questions and learn more about why Acorn School is a great fit for your preschool-aged child. Registration will be available on-site or you can register in advance by visiting us on Facebook and click "Sign Up" or at www.acornschoollh.com and click "Enroll Now".

 
  10:00AM 4:00PM Birding Festival   Kettle Creek State Park will be celebrating the spring migration with a birding festival Saturday, May 19th, from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM in the day use area of the park. Baywings Falconry will be bringing live raptors and putting on a program 12 PM - 1 PM and 2 PM - 3 PM. There will be pontoon boat rides 11 AM - 12 PM, 1 PM - 2 PM, and 3 PM - 4 PM. The boat will load at the dock by the boat launch and space is limited and will be first come first served. These tours will focus on the habitat features in and around the lake that attract waterfowl and other species of birds to the Kettle Creek Reservoir. Other activities will include making crafts, building bird boxes, and more. A bird walk will begin at 10:00 AM. The walk will cover several habitat types in the season for migrating songbirds, waterfowl, and raptors, as well as year round resident species. Parking will be in the day use parking lot at the boat launch and there will be an information table set up near the boat launch. Come dressed for the weather. If you have binoculars, journals, field guides, or birding related material, feel free to bring them. The festival will happen rain or shine, but may be cancelled in the event of severe weather.
 
  10:00AM 5:00PM Central Pennsylvania Fiber Festival  

FREE ADMISSION and PARKING!Variety of vendors with an array of yarns, rovings, raw fleeces, pottery, felted items, finished products, kits and homemade soaps, demos, fleece sale, food and more. Come join us for the weekend. Bring a project and spend some time - sit and chat and make some great new friends.

 
  1:00PM 3:00PM Kiwanis of BENV Membership & Service Showcase  

Come learn more about the Kiwanis Club of BENV and it's 3-2-1 structure by participating in 3 Service Stations, 2 Social Stations, and 1 Membership Station. Help us paint happy rocks to place around the community and assemble Jared Boxes to be donated to UMPC-Lock Haven hospital for pediatric patients and siblings awaiting treatment. Also socialize with us by playing games and enjoying light refreshments.
