All Day Prevent a Death and Save a Life

This is not an all day event- The Community Pool at Mill Hall has partnered with Olivia McGhee for hosting her senior project of a free swimming lesson on July 9th from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM- this will include water safety skills instruction and is open to all ages. Olivia has grouped two events into her senior project and the second half of the project is hosting a blood drive on August 8th at the Dunnstown Fire Hall from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. There will be raffle giveaways and food & drink for the donors. This project is intended to allow people to help others and it costs nothing financially to be able to do this. Olivia McGhee is a senior at Central Mountain High School and her future plans include attending college and following a path into the medical field. She has been a competitive swimmer since the age of 5, she is a lifeguard at the Community Pool and believes that everybody should have a knowledge of water safety. The 2nd leading accidental death in the age group of 5 and under is drowning. The hope of a free swim lesson is to show how to be safe in and around the water. Thank you for your support.
